    Hi Folks,

I have to remove my steering wheel and hub to get my light switch out.
I've got the ring nut off thanks to Ricambi shipping me a hill engineering ring nut tool.
I know I need a steering wheel puller and I know I need to be careful because the hub apparently is easy to break.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a steering wheel puller that fits nicely ?

It's off now. Man, that was on tight. I had to use a 7 ton two jar puller under so much pressure that when it finally freed the wheel shot off the column and hit me in the chest. I made a conscious decision that it was coming off either in one piece of many pieces, but it was coming off.

Good news though, only minor cosmetic damage to the hub, nothing I can't fix.

    :)

Trick: put lockring on 2 threads next time before using puller when object is on tight! Then when puller pops it stops because of the lockring.

Very good advice indeed. I'll chalk this up to learning.
