Hi Folks, I am ordering a steering to replace the original wheel of my 348. Can anyone tell me the size of the original wheel. I understand the wheels are normally 350mm, 320mm etc. Thanks.

Checked the workshop manual, but nothing mentioned reference steering wheel diameter, but my records show 355mm.

(Even though I don't have a 348) I've used a couple of 320 mm MOMO, and it's noticeable smaller than any "stock" F steering wheel (except maybe a 333SP ;)).

350 mm is also a nice compromise -- sporty enough, and still non-gorilla friendly on a non-power steering model.

Can't you measure the OD of your existing 348 steering wheel for comparison?

Attached are jpegs of the stock 365 mm TR and the 320 mm in my TR for reference:

    Hi there,

I have a sport steering wheel for the 348. It's a black suede wheel. Because the diameter is much smaller than stock, turning is easier and sportier. The diameter is exactly 12.5 inches.

The operation of the horn with the sport wheel will be the button in the center. You can keep your yellow prancing horse button that is currently in the center of your stock steering wheel, and that button will activate the horn once the sport wheel is installed.

If you're interested in purchasing it from me send me a private message.
