I know this subject has been discussed, but after 5 years of owner ship the car was missing something and that was bass. Love the car and the sound it produces. I find at my age I like to rock. The car came with a 200 watt amp with back speakers 4X6 with a 3” woofer and I replaced the door speakers (I think I put in 6 ½”) and tweeters in the vents. It had great highs and midrange with no bass. I saw a post about 6 months ago were a guy made a custom fiberglass box for a 10” woofer to fit in the passenger front kick board. So I decided to make my own woofer box. The box with speaker only weights only 16 pounds and you can unplug it and place it in the trunk in less than a minute. I replaced the stereo with a Duel XDM6350 it had three Pre-outputs and USB $75.00 and Boss D10F 10”subwoofer $39.00 from Amazon, and a 1200 watt amp with front, rear and sub from fry’s for $90.00. This system rocks, the bass is just amazing I have to turn the bass down on some songs. The bass is so strong that it moves the rearview mirror on some songs. I was thinking about making a mold and make copies of the woofer box. I would make it with 2 layers of 1.5 oz glass mat. I would finish the backside and I would use a gray gel coat for the outside of the box. You would do the final finish. The box is only 8” deep and fits very snug does not move when driving. I need to make at least 8 to 10 copies to make it worth it. I would charge $225.00 for the box plus shipping. My car is a 91 TS I do not know if it will fit a 355.

I've done this type of thing in all of my cars - can't image link though.

You can get some good results - it's much better to measure this using TS (Theile Small) parameters just to get the correct volume of air (otherwise the sub isn't being as efficient as it could be).

My *only* (positive) criticism is that I think you need to carpet the box. The finish needs to be improved.

But agreed - in transforms the sound in the/any car!! Well done :)
