On a new episode of what's my car worth they featured a one owner 89 348tb with 47k miles on it. It ended up selling for 40k at the Barret Jackson auction thought some of you guys may be interested to see the episiode. I really like the 348B it is a very nice looking and sounding car but it looks really small inside, the host as he was driving commented that he was 5'8 and it didn't look like he had much headroom left, I'm 6'3 and don't fit well in the 308gtb.

I'm one inch shy of 6' and I have no issues, apart from getting in/out over the sides of the Speciale seats.

I'm 6'2" and have about an inch to spare above My head in My 348 TS. I can't see the headroom being that much different in the TB.

(BTW, the 308 GTB is @ 44" in height whilst the 348 is @ 46.1" in height so the 348 would feel slightly more comfortable)

I'm 6'1"...no head issues in the TB....however the seats are another thing...prob my car came with smaller seats(not sure if they were all standard or could be ordered with dif measurements like how it is now for certain sports bucket seats)

I didn't realize that I bet the 2.1 inches would make a lot of difference for me thanks for the info.

When you see a 308 and a 348 side by side you realise that the 308 is very low (or the 348 is comparatively tall!).

As I understand it, the 308/328 has slightly better leg room for taller drivers as the footwell is slightly longer than in the 348, but it has less headroom than the 348.

When I collected My 348 from it's service recently I mentioned that I originally wanted a 328 GTS but the prices went too high for Me, and they said I would probably have felt that the 328 was a bit small for Me headroom wise (which actually wouldn't have been that much of an issue for Me as I very rarely drive with the roof panel on anyway. The lack of a folding soft-top panel for the 328 would have been a pain though! That's another advantage the 348 has over the 328!).

I might try a test drive in a 308/328 to see what they're really like and if they would have suited Me better than the 348 (That's one advantage of turning up in a Ferrari to look at another Ferrari: You're far less likely to be considered a time-waster by a salesman!)

Phil what you are saying makes sense to me as for me personally the 308 gtb was small in headroom I would have to bend my head a little bit to fit not much but some I was pretty heartbroken as the 308 gtb was my dream car. I did not find the legroom to be a problem at all I fit comfortably in a 308 gtsi fine obviously there is enough headroom but legwise and footwise not a problem and I have size 13 feet. I also previously had a 86 mondial coupe which I was very comfortable in. With big guys like us I find it very important to "try on a car for size" before I buy.
