hi, I’m thinking about adding another car and I will if the right one comes up. Ideally, I would like a 1992 or later 348 TB. Will not take a TS. I prefer less than 40k miles but not really looking for ultra low miles. Should have good service history and be well kept. Should be free of dents dings and scratches but a little pebble rash behind the tires is okay. Ideally not red but the right car in red is not a deal breaker. Black or gray or silver would be great potential colors.
348 is the next “I want to get in touch with myself” car. it’s why I’m looking at potentially a 308 or 355
I owned a 348TB challenge for years and sold it. It was awesome. To get another 348 TB now would be good as it would be more tame than my 308 GTB Gr4 and my F40 but a little more nimble than my 512bbi and give me something older than my manual 360. The 355 is too close to my 360 in many ways and a 328 GTB is maybe a little too much like other cars in my garage. I think the right 348 TB could be the sweet spot.
Someone on here somewhere said “ it’s fun to drive slow cars fast”. Of course he was talking about what once considered fast... and that is true. A-black 348 GTB is a beautiful car. I hope you find the right one.
I got the best one my friend Cameron is selling. It is in Cali. It is a 348TB with custom be spoke ronal wheels and bespoke stoptech big brakes and floating 2 piece rotors. It is around 40k miles too I think since it is not my car but I have worked on it. This car is red/tan and was the original Bushmobile of former Fchat member and famous Road and Track magazine illustrator but I'm drawing a blank on his name. He has since passed on. Then the car was owned by our own CopterJohn before making its way to Cameron also on Fchat but not a regular here.
