Hi everyone. This is probably a completely retarded question (I should know better) but after a long conversation yesterday with a European car Mechanic on the 348tb I now have a question; is the differential on the 348 a limited slip type or not? And how about on newer cars like the 355 and 360?

    Thanks for the insight :)

Additionally, I believe they all have essentially the same ZF limited slip, which is above average. The difference is that the locking and unlocking characteristics are different, which helps reduce trailing throttle oversteer. Most cars do not have this, even modern day performance cars.

You can actually feel this if you get on the gas in an uphill corner, and then let off.

...now the 430 is whole nother deal......

That's right, unless you're going to do something constructive like bash the 348 you must leave immediately so we can post about you behind your back.
