    Hi f world. Is there any difference between an American/Canadian top mount tranny. And a top mount European tranny. I'm not concerned about ratios. Just if its a bolt on replacement. I was told all top mounts will work. Anybody know. I have a 1st year 348tb. And the other tranny came out of a 94 ts. Please help guys. Thanks. Tom

    From what I've learned, all are interchangeable and the later the better.

    Waiting for a confirmation as well.

    There are 3 drop gear sets. Standard, Swiss, and Challenge (?). Other than that, all of the internals are the same.
    At one point in time one of the larger <internal> bearings changed part numbers.
