Looking for late model 348ts red on tan or 355gts red on tan, manual, how much should I expect to pay with all service and records done and around 30-40,000 miles? Any for sale? Also would prefer 348ts speciale, how many out there in red on tan, manual?

Member Jotec is also interested in selling his cars.

There is no one on fchat selling a 355 GTS.

    Price guesstimates:
1989 -1990 348TS: $40K-$46K - cars w/o recent service and lot of miles would be closer to lower mark
1991-1992 348TS: $43K-52K - cars w/o recent service and lot of miles would be closer to lower mark
    348SS - $52K-60K - assumes a recent service has been done
    348 Challenge - $55K -$65K - assumes a recent service has been done
    355 GTS - $90-100K - nearly double the price of 348TS

Additions like Tubis, hyperflows attract a small premium to the above car prices. A major service can cost about $5-8K - so you need to budget this in when scoping out a car with last service done about 4 years back.

I agree generally with the price points above except for the 355GTS. Early years will be in the $65K+ area, but before u even look at one make sure that (1) the bronze valve guides have been replaced with steel and (2) the headers have been either replaced or repaired. These are 2 very notable weak points of the early 355's (95-early 98, or all 1997 manuafactured cars).

There are a handful of 355 GTS cars out there ranging from 70-100K. Ditto
on speedy_sams comments in that there are several factors that move the pricing needle.

    355 GTS Examples out there:

Sports Car Company, CA - '96 Black- $69,900
Wide World of Cars, NY - '98 Red- $92,500
Steve Harris Imports, UT - '99 Red- $99,900 (F1 Tran)
Steve Harris Imports, UT - '99 Silver- $99,900 (F1 Tran)
    Ferrari of Washington, DC - '98 Black - $105K (F1 Tran)

For various reasons there seem to be very few examples on the market (versus GTBs and Spyders).

Be careful using dealer prices as market value indicators. Harris is among the highest retail pricers in the nation. Heck, they're all high.
