I have a late 348 with a window ecu. I have repaired the wires in the door jamb (a common problem), and replaced the ecu. I still cannot get the drivers side controls (windows, mirrors, door locks) to do anything. The electrical schematic in my workshop manual and the one in the 355 manual do not match the wiring in my car. I understand that Volume 3 of the 348 manual may have a wiring diagram that works. Can anyone supply me with that diagram? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've never seen more than one volume for the 348.

The 355 has 3 volumes and electrical diagrams are in the back of #3. Page L42 shows the window detail. It's possible that there was a bit of crossover at the end of the 348 and the beginning of the 355.

I've fixed door wiring in a few of them. Be certain that everything is where it belongs, it's a real pain to do sometimes. Do you have a proper ground?

The yellow green wire shows good ground when the ecu is connected. The black wire in the center of the window switches shows ground when the ecu is disconnected but shows 12v when the edu is connected.
Just saw the comment about vol 3 in several posts but I haven't been able to find it, so it may be a mistake. I have the 355 diagram. It doesn't match my wiring.

I haven't seen a copy of it for several years, but as I recall Volume 3 is specific to the Spider.

In the earlier manual, diagram 7 is for the 348 with a rear-mounted battery, diagram 7A is for the models with a front-mounted battery.

Made these up a couple of years ago with a lot of help from other members, I just complied them in a format and presentation that I could understand..
I was going to to rewire my Doors but just took it to Tim "2NA" and he did a great job wiring my driver side door, just drilled out that pesky Amp Plug and reconnected the wires.
    Hope these diagrams help.
Sorry for the small file size but my original scans were too large to upload.
If you would like the much clearer scans, PM me and I will send them to you, around 25 -30 MB's.
