Been thinking about aerodynamics for the 348. I need some downforce. Considering the fact that top speed isn't reached on any of the local tracks or canyons, why not go for maximum downforce? I'm thinking "dirt-track" or "semi-truck" wing attached to the roll cage. What problems could this cause other than the retching of purists? Tire sidewalls? Springs? How much downforce could these produce at 60?

Bruce, there is a guy in miami that makes carbon-fiber wings for the 355's. He also makes CF BUMPERS for 355's for around 3600 a set! Any new info on the 348 CF bumper stuff? I can ask him about the wing if you like, Scott

Heck that dirt track wing is big enough to have its own diffusers!

I'd like to see the wings he's making.
Considering the 348 CF bumpers will only be $2500/pr, I'm guessing some of the 355 guys (Goth) may want to go with 348 bumpers-especially considering they're better looking anyhow!

That's the point of the big wing! More downforce at lower speed-lookin for 500lbs at 60!

    Conservatively

The fact that I have no reliable dyno figures allows me to "estimate". By "estimating" I don't have to explain to St. Peter.
I'm hoping somebody will photoshop a semi-truck wing on top of a 348.......
