348 with Nippondenso Alternator belt size?

    I ID'd my generator so I could order my engine major service parts. It is a Nippondenso. However, the belt on it is a K5 with numbers 199828 and EPDM3. Mitchell at TRutlands says that is a Euro belt and the American one should be a K6 199830 I think. In the picture you can see that I am clearly missing a rib. What do you think? Should I go with the K6 199830?

    Both 199828 and 199830 are 5-rib belts. Moreover, the lengths are not the same. 199828 is 779 while 199830 is 760.

    So maybe someone put a K6 pulley on my alternator?
