They need the black grill to break up the red colour scheme IMO. Like the rear deck lid on them(except for the later cars of course) Black looks better on the deck lid IMO. That is toooooooo much red in that grill pic. :)

Hey Pap, that all red 348 is missing its center-mounted 3rd brake light altogether!

Uh, that's cause they didn't come on Euro models. They didn't come with side marker lights either.

Hi Ernie, Euro cars did come with side markers, but not the flush fit in the front bumper type. They are fitted with a small button type just behind the front wheels. The center brake light was fitted to all cars in the last several months of production regardless of destination, probablely for cost reasons as nearly every market in the world required them by this time. Mine is a UK spec. car, built late 94, delivered new in Hong Kong and has this light. But I can imagine it's possible, some didn't. Like Ducatis towards the end of a production run, you could end up with any kind of suspension, wheels, carbs, electrics, tank...............Cheers, mike D

Sorry Ernie, Just realised the side markers you refer to are "running lights"?
Not side indicators like the uros have. Are they on all the time the car is running or just when the head lights are on?

Sorry Pap, just reread the post and you car is UK like mine. If I could drive as fast as I jump to conclusions I'd be on the front row. Ugh mike

I don't think that the early '89 models had the third break light either.

Do I like stirring the pot or what. :D
