Just to let those interested in these things, my price of $4,500 will include sliders that I had custom made(using the stock ones as doners). You will need these to fit the seats in your car unless you have the factory speciale offset sliders or you want to go through the same hassle I did getting some fabed.
I just got another set of regular 348 sliders so I can let these go with the seats.

I have already heard some ridiculous offers from people that obviously don't know how rare and special these are so please don't waste my time if you can't afford them. I am a reasonable person, Please don't confuse that with uneducated or desperate. I'm selling these for what I paid and that didn't include sliders. Ferrari stuff is expensive!

Now you have me curious as to what ridiculous offers you received. Can you share them with us just for laughs? :)

I have had offers to trade me straight across for stock seats, would I take some money down and payments up to $2000.00, stock seats + $500.00 and I pay for shipping.

I know of someone who has these in their F40 upholstered in red nomex as U.S. F40's should be and this individual was offered upwards of 10 grand for his. Maybe I should have these reupholstered in red nomex.:D

I totally understand someone wanting to get a deal, can't blame a guy for that But common sense should also be in the mix. These are Ferrari seats not Fiero seats therefore they are not going to be cheap and lowball offers won't be taken seriously or accepted.

John, they are amazingly beautiful seats. I saw them a couple weeks ago when I was in Scottsdale at the Pavilions car show. There are just so many of these seats on the planet.....period, just to find a pair for sale is a small miracle in itself.
    Some pics would be great:D

I think the ones you are talking about are the 348 CH seats that have a fixed back CF and require you to use a racing harness.

No, the seats that this car have are the same seat as mine just covered in red nomex. That was the seat spec'd for the U.S. F40. Sports Car Company in San Diego had a set for sale sometime ago and I think they wanted around 10g's for theirs.

I think copterjon is correct that the seats he has are the same ones as the F40 in shape. The fixed back 348CH seats have yellow in the weaving. However, even with that said, if someone wants to pay $10K for the challenge seats or the SS seats in black leather, I may be willing to part with mine.

$4,500 is too reasonable. If I had an SS with tan interior and the regular seats, this would be a no-brainier at $4,500.

those are beautiful seats - you shouldn't settle for a penny less than what you feel is the right price.

The Serie Specialle seats are the exact same seat as US market F40 seats. The only difference is SS seats are leather and F40 seats are red nomex. I know this because I had a US F40. At $4500 they are a bargain.

Hey Kaivball, where did you get the door sill guards? Is that carbon on them with a stainless insert? Looks great! So do the seats by the way! Are you going to sell the original seats? If so, what do you want for them and where are you located? Thanks! Todd

Yes the door sill is carbon fiber with ss insert. There was a guy here on fchat that sold them. Just do a search on door sills in the 348 section for his contact info. Super easy installation.
I would probably sell the seats since they take up too much space. I don't know what they are worth though. Need to do some research first and see what they sell for. Anybody know what the going price is?

I always wondered how much the SS seats weighed, but I think my '89 seats were more like 50 pounds.
