Can anyone advise if all RHD 348tb's came standard with a SF wing shield sticker on each front mudguard.

Specifically enquiring re a late 1993 model tb.

Don't think so. I believe they were always an option... quite an expensive one at that.

They cost at least £500 in the UK, and that may even be "each"! So i opted for the acrylic ones, look absolutely fine and cost £6 for the pair from the main dealer!

Were not fitted to any 348 as standard kit with the exception of the 348GTC - sorry for poor picture quality

The GTC's came with shields as standard, but like Al says, twas a big cost option (£1000+GB??) on the standard cars. They were metal/ceramic (not a sticker) and recessed into the wings so it is difficult to replicate under close scrutiny.

Edited to add that Malcolm beat me to it re. GTC.. must type faster..

I personally think the big enamel recessed ones look too bulky and heavy ... still have 'em on mine though if I got the chance :)

Thanks guys. Now where is the exact appropriate spot where they should be placed on the wing shield guards?
