Agreed, that "franke-ferrari" ain't worth spit. And who wants to buy someone else's problems? Passenger window doesn't work, and broken motor mount? What is up with this cheap owner? That window fix could be VERY expensive. A window regulator for a 355 is about $1400!

How is it any different than any other 348 > 355 conversion if it was repaired correctly? I'd put the value just south of an equivalent unmodified 348, for the right buyer

Note that it is a salvage title as well, so even as a 348 that will knock it down. You'd have to buy it to keep it I reckon. I had a passenger window problem on my car that was just north of $1K to fix so that isn't small beer and I never can quite understand how people put cars up for sale with "easy fixes" for the next guy.

This car is worth more than $20K but much north of $30K ain't likely IMHO. I'd have it but then again I am a sick bastard.

    Cheers

We should go on every car mesage board and everyone gang e-mail ebay to allow ebay to open viewing of bids under the top bid. Then we can bid 5000.00 bucks for a POS parts car like this and other buyers will get the message to say away. I would LMAO seeing the bid at 30K then dropping to 5K. There is a sucker born every minute.

It looks okay on the low res pictures on the computer. the seller says the paint is okay but don't expect too much. It looks like the seller will not get their buy it now unless a real impulsive buyer comes along.

Did anyone notice the burned (melted) spot on the center console. If he gets 43K for that bucket I want 80K for my 348. :)

SALVAGE TITLE. Repaired correctly wouldn't include the veilside rear grill or the non working window or ABS light that Norwood couldn't turn off.

Maybe he transposed digits! Yeah, that's it. He meant $34k, not $43k!

Seriously, $34k for a Salvage Title, non-original, 348 TS with known problems such as window, ABS, center console, bent rims...that would be top Dollar retail for that particular car in my book...and I wouldn't pay it.

17K is tops for this car. I bet Norwood couldn't turn out the ABS light because he wouldn't pony up the 3K or so o get it turned off

He probably doesn't know how to check the ABS error codes...and he may not know that he can have the 348's ABS ECU rebuilt for $350 instead of paying $3,200.00 for a new one.

But he sure knows that he wants top Dollar for a still-unfixed Salvage car.

If the car was at Norwood I'm sure they checked the error codes, but probably right about the rebuild on the ABS ECU

What is a "Lightweight 355 Body"? Is he talking about pieces from a Fiero conversion, or did someone actually produce body panels designed to reduce the weight of the 355? I've never heard of that.

He's probably just saying that the 355 door panels, without the 348 exterior side rakes, weigh less than the 348 door panels. That's why the 348 Competitizione had them removed first, after all.

If any of the other pieces are significantly lighter, I'd be surprised. Then again, based on so many other things in his ad/auction, that car may *have* kit-car parts on it!

My gosh, how much could a "side strake" weigh? 3 or 4 pounds max?
