I have 2x for my Jarama GTS #10528, one from Ubaldo Sgarzi in 1985 and the last one recently 2008 from Valentino. I will scan them to show you. Olivier www.jaramaregistry.com
Hi Marcello, Paul will have his 350 finished for Pebble this year. Looks great! And should be interesting to see the GTV, 350GT #102 and a 350GTS together -- I'd think that's a first. Cheers, Fred
Here's the 350GTS at Turin, behind the Miura chassis -- this is the car that will be a Pebble, I believe. Al Burtoni's fresh restoration. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's the Zagato when it was in Holland. Ciao! Marcello Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very nice Marcello. Here it is when it was auctioned off a few years ago: http://www.400gt.com/articles/Auction/3500_Interim.htm Fred
Anybody have information on the Islero and 400GT being auctioned off in Monterey next month? I'm especially curious as to the Interim's chassis number and estimate. Fred
Wow Marcel, nice find! I have never seen that logo before. And the 2x3 pipes like the GTV! Could this be 0101 at Geneva ? Philippe S2 7987 www.lamborghinimiura.com
Hi Philippe & Marcel, That's what I've always thought. 3 pipes = 101 at Geneva. Man, can you imagine what that logo would be worth? ;^D Nice one Marcel. Cheers, Fred
Speaking of cool 350GTs.... I have a file of 350 photos from last year, but don't know what car they are: http://www.400gt.com/misc/000/ Anybody know? Several cars? Thanks, Fred
Following my last reply about Factory Statement, here are mine : 1) done in 1985 by Ubaldo. 2) some week sago by Valentino. I've also asked to my mechanic who is also working at Lambo Brussels to inquire about the "destruction files rumor" while he was at factory for a training. Now he is back and the answer is : many files were destroyed but factory still hold many informations and resume, not as full completed as Joe is expecting but not as full describing production plan/customer datas and so on as Fred was claiming. So "one set" for each until next thread... Cheers good fellows... Olivier
Hi Oliver, Not sure I claimed anything like that -- certainly nothing about customer data. But they kept detailed records on each car as each was built, as pretty much every factory did. You have to...that's how you build and keep track of stuff. Cheers, Fred
Fred, here are my 2x statements : 1985 & 2008. Not much difference between these documents ! Cheers, Olivier Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice thread! I believe these are not on this thread yet? I made these pictures during the Villa d'Este concours this year. The first is one of the earliest 350GT's and still has the three seats! Very, very cool car!!! Very, very, very nice! I've always loved that early light blue color on the car. To me it's always indicated what direction Ferruccio was actually going in -- a subdued supercar. from the VLG: >> The light blue 350 at Villa d'Este is Ermanno Keller's car. the car is chassis #106, touring #17005, engine #108 delivered on 5/08/1964 to lamborghini from touring. Has just last year been put back to original colour- azzuro Marmolada ,seats mainly original (all 3 !!) << more photos on Jack's site: http://www.lambojack.com/Cernobbio_2008.htm
