Well that pic is old... 10 years by now ? Any update since ? Any volunteer on this board to shoot pics & to look at it at Al's place ?
This is one is finally identified and not for sale : Telaio : #0496 Carrozzeria : #18943 1st owner : 28/06/1966, sold by factory directly Mr. Bruno Negroni in Bologna 2nd owner : currently since 41 years Image Unavailable, Please Login
By "going by" Al's shop, I literally mean I drive by it all the time. I'm always driving from SF to Monterey, and Gilroy is on the way. So if anybody wants to get me permission to photograph Al's 350GTS (though I thought I heard it was sold?) I'll be glad to stop at Al's and photograph it. He doesn't know me from Adam, even though I've been there several times, talked to him, and met him at several shows. Cheers, Fred PS: And...these are my photographs of it from when I was there c. 2003: http://www.400gt.com/misc/350GTS/
Finally identified? Olivier, I know that you are only recently became active in the Lamborghini scene, so for you everything must be a new discovery ;-) But this car was identified many years ago, and it even was displayed in the factory Museum in 2003. Here are some more pictures I took of the car in August 2011. Ciao! Thanks Marcello, VERY nice.. complete with the original dust.. any idea of the mileage? I love these early headlights and this colourcombo, what a great car.. I WANT TO CLEAN IT!!
Well Marcel, I fell terribly sorry for you to react so disproportionnally and that you seems so pissed off and that you consider this like a "playground competition" as I'm not at all... I shoot this picture (and many others) with my LCB group the 6th May while visiting Mr. Righini collection for the 1st time (people who knows the place will recognise pic). I only share it now because last week Mr. Righini told me more about his car history, his friendship with Ferruccio and because he authorised me to share it now on Internet... => "finally identified"... as I could have done it earlier. I really don't like some of your words : "Olivier, I know that you are only recently became active in the Lamborghini scene, so for you everything must be a new discovery ". I would have much appreciate a PM like civilized people or gentlemen. You are unfair, insulting and leave the others readers to believe your comment ! For your knowledge even if you describe me like a "Lambo rookie" compared to you or to others, my father owned 2 Lambos when I was a kid, I'm 46" now. Can you pretent to have lived this "Lambo magic" at Ferruccio's period ? Speaking about "becoming active in the Lambo scene...", I collect everything about Lambo since 1975 and I've bought chronologically my Lambos : 1991 : Jalpa 1995 : Countach 25th 1996 : Jarama GTS 2007 : Jarama GTS 2008 : Islero GT 2010 : Miura 2011 : Gallardo Superleggera Back in 1996, I sponsored Gerard Larousse at the 1st Diablo Trophy/Le Mans... and since I'm active in Lambo life in Belgium leading me to create the LCB back in 2007. So speaking about "being active + a new discovery" what were you doing all these years on your side beside looking at the pics you & your friends were shooting ?
