This One-Off 3500GT Frua spyder and other Maseratis will be auctioned off in Monterey in a few weeks. Design wise, I find the Frua car to be fussy and very close to his Renault Caravelle. The lines are awkward and anything but clean. Lets just say it was IMHO not one of Pietro's finest. I do find the choice of colors interesting and definitely NOT boring. Very Miami "South Beach" It also has an interesting serial number. RM Southeby's, Bonhams and Gooding all have Maseratis coming up on the block, including Ivan Ruiz's Silver Mistral Spyder.
