    I'm wondering if the valve shims are the same in Jaguar XK 120, 140, & 150s as the 3500 Gt Maserati?

    If I recall they have the same diameter but the Maserati shims are thicker. Hopefully someone else can verify this.

    Ivan is correct, they are the same diameter but thicker. I believe they were E-type Shims. Terrys Jaguar parts has an assortment of oversize thickness shims that may work. dependent on your needs. This is what was used in rebuilding my Sebring 3.7
