Its an un-even VIN. Normally that would be a Vignale if you describe it as a 3500GT - but a Vignale with that no. is not existing. So please check again the VIN.
The tag to the right just says 3500. I believe it was a 1664 if I remember correctly. I will see if I can find some pictures.
The car was seen in Germany in 2004 last time. It was a resto project then. No info since. Original colors were light blue with white interior. It was delivered new to its 1st owner, Gianni Reif from Verona/Italy. Then with 2 further owners also in Italy. By 1988 the car was in the USA, then owned by Kerry Horan from Menlo Park, CA. In 1989 owned by Carlos Maduro from Oakland, CA. In 1998 the car was back in Europe located at Joop Stoolze`s famous greenhouse in Holland until 2004, now in bad condition.
Thanks, The car was offered to me about 2011 I believe for 5K. It was located in Kallispell Montana in parts. And rough as you can see from the foto. I was wondering if the car had been saved and restored. Might have been a good deal at 5K......but maybe it is still sitting there. Lost the contact info long ago.
Sebring #01781 is in the Sebring list at Enrico’s site: http://www.maserati-indy.co.uk/ABCD-ENRICO_ALFIERI_Maserati_Sebring_Register.htm Unfortunately there is only one photo, of a bodyshell, it has the text www.boecking-ltd.de.
As mentioned in my previous post, the car was last seen in 2004, located in Germany. It was in the premisses of restorer Olaf Böcking in Salem, Germany. He was notorious in ripping off customers. Many law cases were issued against him and after his bancruptcy everything was given back to the owners with many parts missing or spread around. It was a disaster. I assume this car was given back to its owner in Austria. No further info.
