    Ciao Tutti,

    I am replacing my front wheels bearings and was given a seal for each wheel, which I have no idea where it goes or if it's the correct size or if it even needs one...

    When disassembling the wheel, I notice the original set up did not have a seal, just a metal ring with lip pressed on top of the inner bearing (big one), and around the front wheel axle a large washer made of somekind of Felt... This was the method of assuring somekind of water tightness...

    The ID of the wheel hub for the inner bearing is 63mm, the metal ring is also 63mm so it fits... Yet the seal OD is 64mm, no way it will fit in the wheel hub...

    Any comments, know-how or advice greatly appreciated...
