Interesting, looks like there might be sufficient room for a turbo ..........

I recall reading about a V12 aero engine derived from the big block Chevrolet. That ought to fill the space.

    blkprlz,

Do you have any more info on the 350 Chevy Swap that was done on this 400? I am interested in the swap, I have searched the web but have not found anyone that has done this before. I would love to talk to someone that has done it in a 400 or 412. Do you have any more info or pics, did you do this to your car?

No other info. on this as the main reason I started this thread was because of the 'lack of girth' the 350 has compared to the 400....the 400 comes to about 292cid btw.
As for the swap, as long as the 400 has the auto. tranny in it, it'll bolt straight up once you remove the adaptor flange between the engine & gearbox. As far as I can tell, custom motor mounts (of course), coolant hosing, plus rework the engine electrics & you'll be good to go!
It appears from Chuck's site that you'll have to call him....not quite up to Tom Yangs level.

Are you crazy??! No way, no how!

So any of you guys performing the 350 Swap wanna sell that V12 now that you don't need it!? I got a classic GM A-body that needs an exotic exhaust note!

A GM motor w/180 degree headers would do it for you for a lot less $$$.
