350GT Steering Wheels

Some of you may know me already; I am a steering wheel maker and somewhat of a historian as a result of 14 years of this work. I am interested in knowing more about the steering wheels used in the 350 and 400 model cars, but more so the 350GT.

I am very aware of the Hellebore wood rimmed wheel used for most cars and I know the G. Giunta was used in very limited number, but a question came to mind about a leather rimmed wheel. I cannot tell from pictures whether the leather rimmed wheels I have seen are original factory or aftermarket; there are too many different styles. Does anyone know when, or if, leather rimmed wheels came standard on the cars? Could they have been an option?

I have an additional question about G. Giunta steering wheels if anyone here should have one. I’m wondering if anyone here has a car with an original factory supplied G. Giunta. There were only 30 provided by the factory. I’m checking facts on this and would like the outer rim measurements. It must be one of the 30 wheels supplied by the factory.
