I’m posting this in the (unlikely) hope that someone has one of these sensors sitting around that they wouldn’t mind lending to me for a short period so we can use it to test whether this is actually the problem re my strange “beeping” issue before I go out and buy a new one for no reason.

So, if anyone has a throttle position sensor for a 5.2 car that they don’t need for a little while please let me know.

    Cheers! :)

    Thanks for the offer!

As usual, it seems I should have done a little more research before posting this thread.
I assumed that this would be like other Ferrari sensors and cost many hundreds of $, but it seems I can get a new one from within Oz for around $100.

So I might just do that unless someone is feeling really generous!! :p

Nothing, put it on the dyno for a tune up and they found the TPS defective at low speeds which I'v noticed after long drives where it won't idle properly at the lights

I don't know what you mean by real, but the one used on Moretti's car is generic

From what I gather, they’re all generic (TPSs).

If only some other Ferrari sensors were the same... :(
