On the 355 5.2 engine there is only one throttle position sensor(2.7 has 2-one for each side).... Is the TPS on the passenger side throttle body at rear(gearbox side of engine)?? See what happens when you don't label everything in a complete teardown....duh The WSM pretty much deals with the 2.7, but the parts manual looks to indicate on the 5.2 that it is on the passenger side at rear of engine(gearbox side).
The excellent parts illustrations on the Ricambi site show the throttle potentiometer at the rear throttle body passenger side.
Thank you......I was hoping someone with a 355 could visibly verify by looking at their engine...just to be absolutely sure.
It is there, I have removed mine before to test it's operation. It has an Amp Junior Timer connector attached to it, with three terminals.
Thanks John and Hugh. BTW John, is that diagram off Ricambi's site or off a WSM CD you have??? Really nice and would like to acquire a WSM CD...that is of course if it has the 5.2 electrical diagrams..
It doesn't...nor does the CD's you can buy of Ebay....not sure where to get them... Must be on a seperate manual update or revision, but no one seems to have it available.
