Barrel in evap housing turns freely Motor barely moves. Checked with another motor, same result Swapped switch panel with another panel, same result Stays on defrost (no old socks jammed in ducts!) Anybody with the same problem found a solution?
I fixed mine/ the same problem by momentarily disconnecting the main battery switch to reset the AC ECU.
Unfortunately, the air distribution motor is driven directly by the ECU. P/N 64324800 i.e. no relays. Maybe you could try resetting the plugs on the ECU (check for contamination on the pins). The motor assembly feeds back position to the ECU, but since you've tried a new one, it can't be a feedback problem. Cheers (EDIT: I don't know where it is, but the HVAC ECU has a diagnostic port. Perhaps your local Ferrari technician has something he can plug into it?)
