    Just started having a problem with the ac unit kicking on and blowing a fuse. Cant put my finger on it so I need some ideas as to why this is happening. The entire unit AC/Heater is shutting down after this 30amp fuse is blowing. Its the single hidden fuse underneath the passenger side front fuse panel that stands alone. Never had this problem before. Any ideas?

    BUMP.............
    Blew another fuse again today, its the single 30 amp again. After turning on it runs for a minute then POOF!! no more air. No fan, nothing. Any ideas, it's getting hot in Texas need help!!

    Try to disconnect the fan motor first, then the AC compressor, make sure there are not pinched wires anywhere. Those are the only things that could blow a 30A fuse.
