No concern,I drove my car over 20,000klm with the Prototypes incl rainy Days -I live in Germany-with not a Single Issue. The System is much above the Diffusors on the high of the Airpump with very good Filters. Water has just now chance!!!
Think it otherways, you drive with 120 miles and its raining, you think no water comes in from the door sides on the filters? But for being sure just because I had the same question as you during the developing I install a sieve on the hole of the Diffusor to hold not only the water but also the dirt.

It comes soon, even its not going to look much different than the Prototypes exept the color, but I want to make also an Archiv from Pictures.

    cheers Themis

I think that Hydrolock on this System is totally not an Issue.

    According to Wikipedia:
(The intake opening is lower to the ground than a standard air box, and more likely to introduce water into the engine when fording streams or flooded roads. Hydrolock generally does not occur unless the filter is fully submerged in water."Bypass filters" can be purchased which prevent most water from entering the engine.)

Does anybody drive his Ferrari on flooded Roads in US???
Humidity on a rainy day comes in any kind of engine on any kind of Vehicle that moves on a road. This is why Filters are there,to clean the Air;)

Cool intake air does make a noticeable 'seat of the pants' difference! This was with my 'prototype' heatshield, I will be doing the final iteration in the next couple weeks ............ this new 355 exhaust system has been kicking my ass .................

On another note, I think I have a 'solution' for your rear tires .......... ;)
