    I only think its the spiders that have them, but what are the pair of air tubes that run along the back of the air boxes on my 95 355 spider. The air that comes in one end cannot go through the other end becourse its blocked of. What are these for?and why only spiders? I would understand if they channeled air into the air boxes but they dont???

    I doo seem to be having trouble getting an answer on this question. I have posted it on Tec as well and Tbakowsky has asked me for a pic. I have searched high and low on the net for a pic and every 95 spider i find has not got them, so i will post mine tomorrow.
    But i will say this, last month i bought from a ferrari dealer the right hand side engine bay pannel that fits over the actuator and over the jump start points in the engine bay. The one i got did not fit becourse it was from the GTS so i needed a spider version which i swaped my GTS one for. The spider pannel has a large cut out for the said air pipe, infact both sides has the large cut out for the pipes, does this help anyone.
    NB: just rememberd, if any one has the newish book by ROAD&TRACK called Ferrari F355 & 360, look on page52 it on there.

    Chaa - I have a 95 spider - and I cannot figure out what you are looking at - a pic would tell us volumes...

    The only thing I can thing you are referring to is the value nozzels on each cylinder - I have seen some of these with tubes on them - but most are just the nozzel - which is used for diagnostics...

    I shall be waiting for the pic - cause my curiosity is now up big time :)

    Thanks mate the pic you posted is correct. I wonder why only a few 95 spiders have them, clearly they are not on them all. Does anyone know?
