355 Airbag ECU contacted by FNA for replacement

I was contacted by my local dealer with a phone call saying I was "Selected" to have by air bag ecu replaced at free of cost so they can "Inspect it".

Never had any problems with my airbags, and asked the dealer and they said I was the only one in the Denver area that has been contacted. $1,000 part for free with some known issues so I said "YES!!"

This seems a little odd since I have heard that some issues have been known with the 355 airbags? Correct??

I told FNA since they are doing a (RECALL my meaning) replacement, on my airbag ECU could they look at my cats that were totally blown out at 12k miles and looking into the second manifolds my cars has burned through.....they didnt comment on that...... expected..

Has only else had these replaced or contacted by FNA about this??
