Has anyone replaced the original alarm siren (part #180996) with the new part #177148? How did you handle the wiring? The original siren has 3 electrical contacts. The new siren has 4.
That's the part # i used in mine- The plug just fit the module with no issues- Are you sure the wiring is different?? I thought the only difference was the type of batteries used.
Did you also buy the new cable (part #180072)? I did not buy the cable. The original connector will not fit on the new siren (not on my car anyway).
