Has anyone been able to get their Traqmate to show RPM when fitted to a 355?

I have tried to pull a signal from the tach and from the coil, with and without changing the dip switch in the Traqdata II box; and with and without fitting a Motec tach sender unit between the coil signal and the Traqdata II. Nothing at all just a zero.

I have tried another Traqmate, no difference and I have successfully pulled the tach signal to shift light.

    Any other suggestions appreciated.

Wow, it seems like either one of those should have what you need?

Not trying to be a smart ass, but have you got the software looking for the right signal in the software? Traqmate is usually pretty smart, but I sometimes get messed up in the set up screens cause I rarely go there.

I am sure you tried the Traqmate forums already nothing there?

I have the latest Traqmate software and it like its predecessors does have a check box to use an RPM read out. Mine is so checked as it was originally. OTW there is no config required beyond the switch inside the Traqdata box whose stting makes no difference to either source.

Lastly I did check the Traqmate forum where I got the suggestion of using the MSD Tach sender connected to the coil rather than getting a coil pulse directly. The latter having produced no result.
