Saw the movie last night ( it was ok :shrug") but I was pleasantly surprised to see a white 355 spider among the villains car park. still relevant after 20 years lol I attached pictures i found in another section Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That beautiful 959 would be older still. When something is great, such as the 355 and 959 they stay great virtually for ever. Ive had the odd person still think my 355 is the new ferrari....
I would say those "villains" have great taste in wheels. There is some real great cars in that shot, guess I need to see the complete movie.
There was a small group of people standing around my car outside of a restaurant one night and as I walked up I overheard one of them say "this is like a 300k car". As I got closer one asked what year it was and I told them to guess "2014?" -no, it's 20 years old actually. Amazing that anyone could think it's new.
I liked the movie. I was hurrying to check off all the cars in my brain before that scene moved on. I did not catch the F355. The only bad thing was the soundtrack which was over half copied "exactly" from the last movie... Robb
I get the same thing with my spider. Great feeling for sure Did not know what to think the first few times
I get that wow I thought it was new sometimes when I tell people hold it is......quite often people ask me how much one costs. I bet if said 250k they would believe me
Around LA, I get more interest in my 328 GTS than I do my 355 Spider. The 328 is recognized as an iconic classic. They may not know what the 355 is.
Sharp eye. I still remember the F355 driving scene from GoldenEye. It's funny people could think the F355 is so new. On the other hand, I was filling up gas when a couple approached me and told me how much they loved my Ferrari in the 80's.
That is a great scene from GoldenEye. I don't believe that Aston Martin could keep up with it, but they made it look dramatic.
Check out the recent movie "August: Osage County" for a featured 355. This is the one with Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts. It has several scenes with a red/tan 355 Spider , some with the top up and some down. Its on camera for several minutes in some scenes and you get some nice shots of it. This car looks stock but I think its been lowered. Check it out. The shots all appear about 1/3 way or so into the movie.
