355 ashtray

Robbie at Sticky No More would know if the 360 ash tray fits in 355. In fact, even better...Sticky No More probably has 355 Ash trays that they can sell you.

 

64234600 is the part number for the 355 ashtray. and, it was only used on the F355.

For the 360, it's 67505800, and was used on the 360, 550, and F430.

I think you would find that the part would cross-reference to both vehicles if it would fit both.

Yes there is a really really big difference between the 360 and 355 ashtrays....the difference is so enormous that only a super skilled 5 year old can master...it is called rotating the flags 180 degrees...

 

They are fairly different, the 355 has grooved slots on the side to fit the mirror switch trim, the others do not. But the others will work if you glue/silicone the trim on beside the ashtray. The flags are the same on both models. The 355 is usually $200 more in cost also.

 

I've installed many 360 ashtrays in a 355 with no problem...the little interlocking groove for the mirror switch is no problem..especially when it is approx. $200 more for an extremely hard to find 355 ashtray

I don't know about the 360 but my 430 ashtray lid is plastic and my 355 was made of metal. Probably why the 355 cost so much more.

 

How do you rotate the flags? mine looks like the correct 355 ashtray but the flags are upside down...I have tried putting pressure on them to spin them around but didnt want to break them.

 

There are two small nuts on the back that hold the flags in on posts. Unscrew those, flip the flags, and replace the nuts.

Later ashtrays were plastic, some of the later year 360 and all 430 models. Much better design than the metal lidded ones
