With the engine dropped and everything out, it's quite easy to take a look at the clutch assembly and other clutch components.

If you are in need of a 355 clutch assembly, it'll set you back $1500 (ouch!).

Should someone have a clutch with very little meat on it remaining, I have a 355 clutch assembly (disc and pressure plate) with about 60-70% life remaining. I'd be willing to sell it to someone for $300 plus shipping. The labor involved to switch the thing with the engine already out is minimal. It should last you at least until your next major service if not until a few more majors down the road.

For those newer members reading this thread, remember also to take a look at the usual areas like engine mounts, transmission mount, exhaust manifolds, exhaust bypass valve, shocks and shock actuators, etc. Search the archives as this has been discussed ad nauseum.

    Best,
    David
