There is always a 355 on BAT. Averaging 4 a month there alone. Then all the other auctions, eBay, Auto trader, private sale, dealers.... Bid rices going down not up it terms of limit reached. many not selling. Some do sell but outside the unicorn overall the prices are not significantly higher than the 348 oddly. It means something I'm sure don't know what. But people are not clamoring to buy one at any price that's for sure. Throw out the high and the low and this year average sale is $67K. Better than during the recession but definitely don;t see any danger becoming $100K cars overnight. And maybe no one expected that but me. They sure are fine though! Some lucky dudes. Several comments that the owner is a F-chatt'r. I hope he'll chime in here. I was a little surprised he didn't post it here first (or I missed it). I was hoping CarNutDallas's first bid would hold, just to see what he'd do with three F355s
Love the euro steering wheel and non airbag dash, but not sure if that helps with resale. For the mileage, the interior looks clean. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Anyway.... I only see 2 berlinettas in the last 8 months so will be a good albeit high mileage data point
I just searched on BAT "355 berlinetta" and found 9 the last 12 months on BAT they averaged about the same price as the spiders. Hope buyer and seller wind up happy!
Modified is good for some of us. Mine is the same way. That’s why I got it. All comments are positive on the Euro look & 430 wheels & tires, etc, but of course, no Concorso for me. Which is fine, not my style.
ohh, 1995 Ferrari F355 Spider 6-Speed just went up too. Something in the water maybe, Berlinetas, Targas, Spiders everywhere for sale. One would think that would tilt it to buyers market perhaps.
Are you certain or speculating? I remember this car being advertised as a euro car in a craigslist ad. U.S cars dont come with airbagless passenger.
The comments say it all.. the f355 is Ferrari's most beautiful modern classic. Its fast enough to play but its not about that. The car is simply automotive art, sound, sight and desire. Ferrari themselves have a hard act to follow in the f355.
No F355 came with a smoothed out passenger side dash. It was either an airbag or a glove box. That being said, this car has no side markers. So, is it a euro car with small round side markers filled or a US car with bumper marker lights filled?
It is not a euro car. Side markers look to be filled. Note, it does not have fender mounted side indicators as a European car would. In addition, European cars don’t have the door jamb plate with the production date stating it was manufactured to Federal Motor vehicle standards, etc. Note it also has California emissions booklet with the car. It’s a US car, modified with a European steering wheel and filled in side markers in the bumpers.
I know the car well Just cant remember, think they may be challenge bumpers. Drove it several times, handles has power passes smog. good running car. May have some upgraded suspension items IIRC
I posted it for a friend. Very good car! Runs great, well detailed. Thanks for the positive comments!
Yeah, all one has to do is look at the VIN - 8th digit is an A which is North America. Euro Market would have a B there. That ends any speculation.
if you polish them too much they lose the black anodized effect. Good sign that its an original windscreen, as the trim gets changed most times a screen is replaced.
