    What you wrote is true about polishing, but it wouldn't be uniform without removing the trim and making sure the whole thing were polished. I'm guessing it was ordered this way or it is a replacement part.

    Nice looking car! I love the euro spec steering wheel too.

    I have seen several in the UK that are that way, maybe we polish them more over here because we have a more adverse climate and keeping them clean is a full time job.
    Also if you polish the black anodized finish off one area that is more prone to polish, say along the roof line, then to keep the colour and finish uniform just get the t-cut out and go to work on the rest of the trim.

    I am not aware of any replacements with that finish or special order parts.

    but could be totally wrong, wouldn't be the first time

    see my car below - the windscreen trim used to be much more black finish - almost matt black, it now has a sort of black chrome appearance, but in this picture because of the light it looks all chrome.
