I have been looking at a few Berlinetta's and when you open the doors you can see the paint scraped away from the inside of the doors rubbing against the door jams. Is this normal? I have been looking at low milage cars and its the same thing.I know they flex, but a 10,000 mile car ?
Does anyone else see this on thier 355?

I've seen this on every 348 I've ever looked at.

I have a 355 for sale with 30k and have no rub on the either door. I have understood this to be an issue. When I was looking for I found about half to have the problem.

I do not beleive that is a standard problem and would stay away from a car that has those issues. Luckly, my 355 door shuts with no problems at all.

Wow! That sounds like the car might have been in an accident. I just bought a 1997 355 spider. With no body line/fitment issues. Is not the berlinetta stiffer because of the roof?? I know the spyder has reinforcements, being an open top.
