I would take it to a highend bodyshop no doubt, these guys are dedicated and a lot cheaper than a dealer for the same results, have a look at my mates work in the thread indicated, he is a true enthusiast and a total professional when it comes to Ferrari.

in my experience many dealers simply ship the cars to the same high end bodyshop you can take it to yourself...then you dont have to pay the dealer markup.

Just make sure its a bodyshop thats known for repairing Ferraris and other exotics.

Alot of times the shops doing the work for F-Car dealers do pretty decent/high-end repairs. I think as long as you need bolt-on parts (no inner structure), most shops can obtain these parts outside of the black market. Doing a repaint and a structural repair are 2 totally different levels of repair. Sounds like you have a somewhat light hit. Any pictures? My suggestion would be that if you're making an insurance claim, don't take it to a shop your insurance company recommends.

There is a certified Ferrari repair place in PA, I know DC guys have sent their cars up there before--It's called Karrosie I believe---Also add your car to the 355 registry. Keep an eye out in the Mid Atlantic region we do alot of cool evnts in the Dc area..

I think we will probably use this unfortunate mishap as an oppurtunity to paint the whole car. it had some bad rash on the front fender which will not be a problem anymore but the skirts also were pretty bad. there was also a crack on both sides of the car where the hard top tied into the rear. what will a paint job run?

If it comes to transporting the car, you might consider sending it to Bo Pirkle in Atlanta -- who has done work for Ferrari of Atlanta. His work is incredible (at the Pebble Beach level).

just make sure they have a good reputation etc.....remember the bitterness of the poor quality last much longer than the sweetness of the cheap price!!
