    Hi all,

    Can someone give me a link or a short list that would inform me as to all the little reliability issues to look for when buying an F355 Berlinetta 6 speed? Can't seem to find what I'm looking for in the archives. I am looking at 1997 or newer.

    I've spent months learning about all the things to look for when buying a 348... I'm sure informing myself about a 355 will require similar effort, but if you can give me a shortcut please help!

    Regards,
    David

    I was in the same boat a few months ago, so I'd be happy to give you a few pointers as to the most common problems. I had no problem finding any of these using the search function...also, don't forget to search the old board as well. Try these headings when you search;

    Exhaust Manifolds, valve guides, paint cracks/C pillar (for berlinettas), sticking throttle.

    Those seem to be the biggest issues with these cars, at least from what I've read. I'm sure others will chime in as well with things I have left out.
    When searching, make sure to search in the "title line" only....also try that with a search for "355"...the headings should help you zero in on the topics that will interest you.

    Good luck!

    David,
    does this mean the 348 speciale is being replaced, or gaining a stablemate?

    It means that my brother may be joining the Ferrari club! But he's do lazy to do his own research :)
