Having changed the cabin air filter in my daily driver (a Mercedes - which creates certain conflicts as to who I should root for in Formula 1 {not really}), I bemoaned the fact that my 355 has no filter to remove all the gunk in Los Angeles air. So I went on Amazon to look for a cabin air filter that would fit the 355 cabin air intake. Couldn't find one the right size, so I bought the one in the photos (about $10) and cut it to fit (more or less) with a pair of scissors. No problem shutting the hood, the filter just squishes down. Actually the hood helps hold it in place. Might not last in the rain (but then, who takes their 355 in the rain)? Will remove it when I wash my car, too. Probably best to take it off when you're showing at Pebble Beach or getting your Ferrari classiche certification, but otherwise take a deep breath and enjoy the clean air.

Find one with activated charcoal. The filter media will be grayish looking. The activated charcoal is what absorbs odors and contaminants in the air. The factory 360/430/Enzo filter doesn't have charcoal, but I found an aftermarket manufacturer "Filterist" in Germany making them for Ferrari. 1/3 what the factory filter costs too of course ;)
