I want to install some audio equipment in the front storage compartment of my 355. In doing this I will need to route extra cabling through to the head unit inside the car. Has anyone done this, and if so is it a difficult job? I need to put a number of cables through but I'm not sure where they can be routed. I already have a factory CD changer in place but the cables for that disappear from view behind lots of other gubbins so I'm not sure where they actually go.

Can anyone advise? Are there plenty of holes through the bulkhead to route cables or am I on a hiding to nowhere?

    Thanks,
    Ric.

I assum you have the front carpeting out in the "trunk". If you look at the passenger side, beside the heater box..you will see a control module. Just behined that is a fairly large gromet that already has some wires passing through it for the various wiring for the controls in the hearbox. You can feed your wiring through that gromet.

Thanks Tom - I only have the carpeting lifted up at the moment rather than completely removed. I'll take it out completely and have a look.

    Cheers,
    Ric.
