Hello, I contacted PETER DELANEY, the originator of this great replacement part, and learned he does not have any more. Peter suggested I inquire here, as several people purchase multiple pieces from him. I'm hoping someone will want to sell one of their spares. If so, please contact me @ [email protected] Thanks in advance!!
Finally got around to tackling the switches to remove the goo. I had the same experience with the shock switch as someone earlier in the thread. Taking it apart made the cleanup much better, small "name tag" comes right out. Small spring and two very small plastic ends required me to make a tweezers out of sheet metal to compress them so I could put the cover back on. Can't see anything wrong inside, but while switch will turn on, it will not hold on. Like a rocker switch that doesn't click into the two positons. Anyone have any pointers in getting it back together where it will operate correctly?
I think I still have a few left, give a call if you come up short. Dave Helms Scuderia Rampante Inc. Boulder CO 303-938-9000
Well, after over 3 1/2 years I just got around to putting the new piece on. Took all of about 10 minutes, and I was careful. Looks great. I just can't believe that it took me this long to finally get around to it.
