    This project has not stopped.

You may recall a post that said the resolution of the 'fix' (bubbling center piece on the 355's) was not brilliant. I took some better pictures and have sent them to the printers. I've been travelling (currently in the Middle East) so I got a bit behind. Should be back in ~ 12 days, and I'll post another update. I reckon I should have something people may want to purchase (not talking of Ferrari prices either .... maybe $25 compared to $1600 someone was asking for a carbon fiber effort, or $1361 for OEM) by mid July. Even the rough one I have as a sample is a thousand times better than what was on the car.

If anyone can get decent jpg's of other cars ... printer can do those too.

In fact, if anyone has a good picture (or could take one) of the 355 center they can e-mail it directly to me at [email protected]

    Regards,

    Pete

Robert .. it's very easy to install. Remember this is not high tech. rocket science. It's a piece of plastic that gets stuck on, after the bubbling bit has been surgically removed with a razor. You have to remove the piece from the console .. but that takes literally 60 seconds. Sounds horrible .. but it works.

Before anyone coughs up the high $ :) ..I'll post everything on the site so peolpe can see what the fnal product is like.

By the way .. if anyone can give me a high res. picture of the 355 piece I'm talking about .. please do. My battle at the moment is trying to get the resolution improved. Send to [email protected]

    Regards,

    Pete

There is a guy Eric in colorado that does carbon fiber parts for ferrari and other exotics.
You should at least email him and find out what it would take. I know his prices are reasonable.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the carbon fiber center bit was ~ $1600 ... more than the OEM cost. There was a thread sometime back talking about options .. that's where I got the cost from.
