Around $350, call John at MACarbon. I waited a while so I got a little discount. But now he has them made so there shouldn't be a wait

Now I can see why Bartman needed them so badly! Those are some nasty old ones!

We are selling them for $325/set + shipping. They should be on the website this weekend. The carbon pattern will match that of any of our products or other manufacturers.

We have a few sets in stock so give us a call.

    John,

When are you going to make airboxes for the 355?

I guess I have been saying for while that we'd get to them at some point..... So the ones for the 430 are in process and then I promise we'll start working on the '96+ 355.

Don't the CF ones look a little out of place? Any problems showing the car?

I re-did mine for $5 and ~ 60 mins. of effort and now they look stock. With the OEM handles being metal compared to all the other plastic 'gummies' they're real easy to clean up.

Just my 'Ferrari-less' humble opinion ...

They don't look out of place because I have other CF pieces in the car. Maybe if I didn't they might look out of place.
I assume if you were showing the car you would lose some points, but I like them anyway :)

That looks cool, but, honesty that seems WAY overpriced. I like the look of the Macarbon stuff, but, wow they seem to definitely take advantage of the perceived stereotype that Ferrari owners have endless pockets.

    Hi,

The door handles are priced at that point because we have to use the OEM Ferrari door handles as a basis. (This version is a laminate with the carbon over the Ferrari metal part.) We looked into having the part copied but would not be able to get anything for a reasonable amount without making 1,000 handles. You do the math on that one.

If we were developing parts for Hondas (maybe then we'd be buying a 430) and could make 10,000 of them then the price would be lower. If we make thirty sets of Diablo door handles (or 355 handles) we don't have many copies on which to spread the development cost.

Add to that the difficulty in working in CF. It is an expensive material, is a pain to clear coat (many less expensive parts use gel-coat and one layer of CF). Finally add to that that our parts are not made at $3.25/hour and you have a recipe for a higher priced item.

Are the parts expensive? Yes. Are we the most expensive? No. I would say Tubi parts are relatively mass-produced and they are not cheap either.

Did you guys ever make these for 348's?

I removed the famous Ferrari GOO tonite and I am gonna satin finish one and polish the other to see which looks better. One of them should match the shift know and gate pretty well.
I will post photos tomorrow when I get to the shop.

I would consider CF handles if you guys have them

We never did get to them. Since the core cost was so high we had back burnered it. But we've had to convert the 355 to core exchange due to the Euro so we might as well do the 348! I'll look into getting some pieces from Ferrari next week.

Looks nice! Personally I wouldn't spend that much to upgrade my door handles...but wrapping the ones I have is a good idea. hmmm...

The 355 customers have been very happy with the handles.

As for price, we've covered this on a lot of threads but we try to provide the best value we can. With the size of this market its hard to generate the volumes that would lead to better pricing.

They look great and we appreciate your business serving the needs of the 355. Price isn't Honda cheap but your explanation makes perfect sense.

There is a thread in this section where someone was going to make new 348 handles rather than buy them from Ferrari. Even with an offer from us to buy a decent number of sets, the math didn't work.

I once had a friend who described our market as "The size of the one of the angels dancing on the head of one of the angels dancing on the head of the pin."
