Good question. The exhaust is attached only at the cross bar. The exhaust tube is floating.

Love the revving sound, don't care for the idling sound (reminds me of a funny car engine sound) , We need to hear this car on the track at top speed.

Considering the fact that this is a 355CH, it won't be spending any time on the road to begin with...

Very nice! Listen to Gothspeed regarding exhaust systems he really knows his stuff.

BTW, I have the same CDA air intakes on my Audi TT. I've had good luck with them, and I hope the same for you.

    I like the CDA's.

AS FAR AS THE SOUND. It's not too bad under 4500 rpm. Anything above 4500 will wake the dead. I'll be at Sebring Raceway next weekend. I'll post some more clips of the 355 going under the bridge at turn 17. The sounds is awesome going under the bridge and on to the front straight.

I think the 355 is one of the best sounding engines above 4500 RPM's. The 365 GTC/4 is the other.

Anyone who thinks that it would be cool to drive a car with no silencer around on the streets has to check for some loose acorn nuts. ;)

I guess, I'm in that club (Loose acorn Nuts). Because it's really not that bad. I would not drive it cross country, but a couple of hours with earplugs would be fine. BTW, the club is growing. Other Fchat guys like JuanFangio(348CH),Ira Swartz(348CH) all drive their CH's on the street.

It would be nice if I had windows, A/C, a radio, leather seats, head lights. But all that REALLY matters is the sound of that engine!!

I like the sound a lot. Don't sweat what it sounds like on the street. If you drive it there a little, and mostly on track, it will be a sweet sounding ride in all conditions. :D

Freakin LOUD :D!!!! ........... cooler running is definitely a benefit of a free flow exhaust .... especially as free as yours :D ............... so in the never ending pursuit of RWHP .......... I will be making a new setup for my 355 ......... the goal is to obtain at minimum 'Capristo Race' RWHP (over 20) ......... not be as loud and keep the F1 sound I have now ...... :)

Great job on yours!! It seems perfect for the track :)!!!

Thanks Gothspeed. It was a success, but it was designed to run on the track. Good luck with your street setup. I am sure you can obtain 20 HP.
