I'll try to post some pics once I pick the car up this Saturday, but I'm happy to report that I bought Harrison Williams 355 Challenge from FoH. Id grown a little skeptical of the roll cage in my Cobra for racing, and had been deliberating getting a 355C car to run with NASA. I felt that in Texas theyd be a perfect fit just to get seat time and be able to race at the local tracks without a lot of hassle. The nice thing about Harrisons car is that it is also SCCA legal with lots of T1 history: regional championships, runoffs appearance, so I'll be able to run SCCA also. Anyway, the timing was perfect with Robs announcement of the series and Harrisons car becoming available. Im really looking forward to running the series even if its only a car or two initially. NASA usually has a good turnout in "closed wheel" with 15+/- cars and occasionally some REALLY fast guys. Ill have lots of questions for Rob and others about how best to run a 355 Challenge at a "Club Racing" level. I'm planning to do NASA at MSR Mar 4-6. I'd like to try to get some track time at MSR sooner if I can squeeze it in. Mark McKenzie
Sadly, the garage is getting a little crowded..... As much as I love all of them, it probably makes sense to sell either the 348ts, or maybe the 550, but don't tell my wife. Seriously, she gets more attached to the cars than I do, and she does NOT want to see the 550 go.
