My Hoosier fails were on road tracks. But with that said, my last 295 rears/245 fronts that were the designated Daytona slick tires not generally liked by the CCR, just got parked after 12 cycles of which 8 were full heat (30 mins at race speeds) cycles.

I have also used the Kuhmo (sp) DOT tire that i found long lasting, gripped easily as well as any Hoosier and were better priced.

Pirellis have been generally excellent with very low wear from the fronts in 245 or 250 sizes and cycle out long before they wear. They have also proved to be excellent W/C tires in both ST and GTS classes.

man, $550 for rears and $425 for fronts? Yokos only $50 cheaper in fronts. Are slicks really that expensive these days? I called Woodman. Thanks.

Pretty amazing. Just bought a set of Pirelli's from Bob Woodman and they were just over the Yoko price. There used to be a decent $ delta from what I remember.
