I tried to plug in my Valentine 1 Radar detector in the cig lighter the other day. It wiggled around a bit and worked for about 1 minute then just went dead. I looked in the crappy manual and found nothing about the fuse for it or where it is located. Does anyone have any clue?

    thanks

It's shared with the parking lights, and I think is in the box under the hood. It is listed in the chart in the manual, because I found it whiltrying to figure out why my cahrger won't work. Since my parking lights are working, I didn't bother to pull it out.

It's depicted on page L-21 of the manual. The fuse is located in the fuse box in the passenger footwell, it's the second one from bottom left (10A).

Andy pointed out the location correctly. The Ferrari Owners manual is acutally very detailed, especially compared to some other manufactures. If you look through the Ferrari manual I bet you will see a lot of details worth noting for future reference

Your funny :) Its under the floor mat near the front under a metal plate that has a couple of screws that are really just turn and pop type deals. It is concealed under that plate so you won't see it by simply looking under the floor mat. If you were sitting in the car the plate you are looking for is about where your feet would be. Does this help?

ok, great found it. It is located under the passenger footrest. Of course now I do not have a spare fuse on hand and the "extras" are all gone!

I'm glad you found it. While you are out buying extra fuses you might want to get some 30 amp spares, that is what the cooling fans need :)
