Question, I plan on replacing my AFU thermostat today. I need to drain the coolant which I will replace as well. Is there a drain on each radiator? And is there a drain on the engine block? I want to get as much of the old juice out. Thanks for any input.

If it's anything like the 348 (which I am certain it is), there is a drain on each rad.

Not sure about the engine block.

One on the bottom of each radiator. One at the driver side, toward the rear on the engine block. Be ready for a mess.

...and be careful. The ones on the radiator are plastic with a rubber seal and break really easily.....

As someone who has owned a few aircraft, I can tell you that Ferrari are total amateurs when it comes to blatantly ripping off owners on the cost of parts and maintenance.
    There really is no comparison.

If you own an aircraft and you object to being charged $100 for a screw that you could buy at the local hardware store for 10c?
    Fine. Your aircraft is grounded...

As stupidly expensive as Ferrari's are to maintain, they are still cheaper than

    a). Aircraft

    b). Kids

    d) mistresses, while still having wife
    e) ex-wife after she found out about mistresses
    f) drug addiction
    e) gambling addiction

    Sorry bro.....

Take a small flat head screwdriver and heat it up and push it into the stuck plug and let it cool. Turn it out and install the new one you bought from Ricambi :)

As an aircraft owner for many years I can not agree more.

Once you own an airplane, everything else in the world is cheap.

Kids...ha. Aint that the truth. College this year for my daughter. $52k a year and yours truly doesn't qualify for any aid or loans.... (and she had a full scholarship at Purdue and turned it down for the Ivy League.) I didn't really want that 458 Spider anyway <sigh>

Ferrari maint is nottin' once dropped in line with some other things.
